God created Elijah the same way He created us. Elijah faced the same things we have to face. Why was this man such a man of God? He had a heart that was running after God. Do you have a heart that is running after God? How can we also be wholy filled with the Spirit of God?

Elijah's servant Elisha got a double portion of God's Holy Spirit. Through God's anointing he could do miracles and he even raised a boy from the dead. Why could God use these two men so mightily? Is it different now? God is no respecter of person and wants to use you for His glory.

How can we get to heaven? Is there a way out from our bondage in sin? The answer is a big YES! The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ! Jesus defeated the devil. We are free through the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord that He poured out on the cross of Calvary. Through Him we have the victory!

God tells us to share the love of Jesus with other people and bring them to Jesus. We can see the power of personal invitation as Andrew invited the little boy out of the crowd to come to Jesus, not knowing that God would use that boy in an amazing way. We never know what happens when we invite someone and bring them to Jesus.

How do we know what to say to someone at the right moment? Do you sometimes feel like: “Yes, I need to have the right thing to say when I meet someone that doesn't know Jesus.”? We can sometimes feel inadequate how to respond to those around us, and bring them succesfully into the Kingdom. The Lord wants to give us a word for the moment that is needed, making a difference of life and death.

Ezra led the people of his generation to fast and to pray, to totally depend on God. What are the dangers in our generation today? Do we lean on other things or people than God? Are we totally dependend on God and God alone?

Jesus wants us to share His love with our neighbor, even though we are hurt. There is joy in sharing God's love with others. We will be refreshed, renewed and strengthened and our own pain will be lifted! Do you have a desire to share God’s love with other people? How can we receive a heart of compassionate love?

The prophecies in the Bible show us that the world will not stay at peace. The devil fights for every soul and is not satisfied with less. We are in a spiritual war and God wants us to fight for every soul by bringing them the gospel of the living and risen Jesus Christ.

Our mind is the place where every battle is either won or lost. What is your attitude when you're in the valley of your life or on the top of the mountain? Do we still trust God and see His love and goodness in every situation?

What we put into words and speak is very important. Therefore, the confession of our faith is of great importance. The only way we will be uplifted in the Spirit is if we speak words of love. God is love and God works in love. Do we recognize Gods will in His Word? Do we have the right confession?
